Nickel Alloys Trader & Supplier

nickel alloys

Nickel alloys are metal alloys in which nickel is the most abundant element. Despite its high versatility and ability to alloy with almost any metal, nickel is one of the most common alloying elements. As a whole, nickel-based alloys offer heat resistance and high corrosion resistance against a broad spectrum of corrosive media, such as chemicals, alkalis, petroleum, and seawater.

Features of Nickel-Alloys

Common Types of Nickel Alloys

Nickel can be blended with metals like chromium, iron, and molybdenum to generate an alloy that can offer enhanced corrosion or oxidation resistance, elevated high-temperature performance, or reduced coefficients of thermal expansion due to its versatility as a metal.

Below you will find information about each type of nickel alloy.

  • Nickel alloys
  • Nickel-Copper alloys
  • Nickel-Based superalloys
  • Iron-Nickel alloys
  • Nickel-Iron alloys
  • Nickel-Chromium alloys
  • High-Nickel alloys

Material Properties of Nickel Alloys

Nickel alloys can be classified according to their second most prominent element, their characteristics, and their uses.

Generally, nickel alloys can be divided into four types:

  • Low-Expansion Alloys:

These nickel alloys have been specifically designed to have low thermal expansion.

  • Electrical Resistance Alloys:

Nickel alloys with high nickel content. Among electrical resistance alloys, there are two subcategories: resistance alloys and heating alloys, which contain silicone and possibly niobium, along with nickel and chromium.

  • Soft Magnetic Alloys:

Alloys of nickel have a high magnetic permeability as well as low saturation induction.

  • Shape Memory Alloys:

A nickel alloy can regain its previous shape with the proper heating schedule.

At, MV Super Alloys, we provide these Nickel Alloys in various grades such as

  • Nickel 200 (UNS N02200) (EN 2.4066)
  • Nickel 201 (UNS N02201) (EN 2.4068 LC-Ni 99.2)
  • Hastelloy C-276 (UNS N10276) (EN 2.4819 – NiMo16Cr15W)
  • Hastelloy C-22  (UNS N06022)
  • Inconel 600 (UNS N06600) (EN 10095)
  • Incoloy 800H/HT Incoloy 800H (UNS N08810)
  • Incoloy 800HT (UNS N08811)
  • Inconel 625 (Alloy 625) (UNS NO6625)
  • Incoloy 825 (Alloy 825) (UNS N08825) (EN 2.4858 – NiCr21Mo)
  • Monel Alloy 400 (UNS N04400) (EN 2.4360 – NiCu30Fe)
  • Monel K-500 (UNS N05500) (EN 2.4375 – NiCu30Al)
  • Inconel 718 (UNS N07718) (EN 2.4668 – NiCr19Fe19Nb5Mo3)
  • Inconel 601 (UNS N06601) (EN 2.4851 – NiCr23Fe)

Applications of Nickel Alloys
